Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat is a certified Hotel and partner of Eco Tourism Greece. It offers luxurious comfort in a serene country setting. The hotel has 13 elegant, spacious rooms with tasteful décor, fireplaces, balconies or terraces with panoramic views over olive and orange groves and ample natural light. Guests can relax by the outdoor swimming pool, enjoy massage or wellness services, unwind in common lounging areas, and dine at the Farm-to-Table restaurant that serves fresh local and organic produce. Breakfast is homemade, served outdoors in good weather, featuring seasonal ingredients, and in the rooms you’ll find amenities like orthopaedic mattresses, quality linens and eco-friendly toiletries.
Perivoli embraces a comprehensive green policy meant to reduce its environmental footprint and promote responsible tourism. Practices include recycling (plastic, glass, kitchen oils, batteries), installing energy-efficient systems (inverter air conditioning, LED lighting, external light sensors/timers), using thermal insulation and energy class A+ appliances and minibars and key-card switches for lighting. Heating is provided via LPG. Biological cleaning practices are in place, water saving measures are deployed, and there is also a fast-charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles in the hotel’s parking lot. They also commit to respecting the natural ecosystem: for example, not selling or collecting native wild plants or wildlife, and encouraging guests to avoid disturbing natural habitats.
Around Perivoli, there are many opportunities for nature-based and cultural tourism. Guests can enjoy hiking and biking through the scenic hills of Argolida, exploring olive groves, orange orchards, and countryside paths. The region is famous for its wine, particularly around Nemea, so wine-tasting tours at local vineyards are a natural choice. Olive oil tasting is also readily available, as the area produces high quality extra virgin olive oil. In addition, the proximity to Nafplio means access to beaches, archaeological sites such as Mycenae and Epidaurus and local villages with traditional crafts and cuisine. These experiences blend beautifully with the hotel’s farm-to-table emphasis and respect for local heritage.
The accommodation is certified with the Good Travel Seal, a sustainability management program operated by Green Destinations.
