Aneroussa Beach Hotel

You’ll adore the awarded sandy beach and Cycladic minimalist décor while staying in this hotel built and owned by three architects. Swim in the crystal-clear water of the almost private beach, dive and hike in the nearby ravine. Start your day with a rich local breakfast, which you can also order to go. We’re happy to see that the hotel has acquired the Greek Key award for eco-friendliness.

Andros

Close to Athens from the Rafina side (only two hours), Andros is a comparatively green Cycladic island with abundant water. A centuries-old, rich naval tradition and strong cultural heritage make it a highly interesting spot for cultural travellers. Andros is rich in flora such as blackberry bushes, fig trees, ivies, myrtle, wild acorn trees, wild mint and much more. Its fauna include badgers, hares, snakes, partridges and weasels.

Many of the island's valleys are Natura 2000 regions, such as Amolchos-Varidou-Zorkou, Evrouson-Apoikias-Stenion, Mountain Dipotamata, and Vourkoti-Achla. The Bay of Moni is also a Natura 2000 region. The gorge and valley in Dipotama a natural ecological museum, complete with streams, rich vegetation, rustic stone bridges and old watermills.
