Ioannina Farm-to-table experience

Overview

Get ready for a fun family adventure! 2o minutes away from the city of Ioannina, our bio-farm tour is perfect for families who want to learn about sustainable farming practices. Pick veggies, collect eggs, meet cute animals, make feta cheese, and enjoy a delicious organic farm-to-table meal. Let’s explore the beauty of sustainable living together!

Description:

The adventure begins at our vegetable gardens, where you can handpick your favorite veggies. Then, greet our friendly chickens and gather eggs from their cozy nests.

We will then walk through our farm, introducing you to our adorable sheep and goats. You can interact with them and learn how we care for our animals using sustainable farming methods. Our knowledgeable guides will answer any questions you may have.

Moving on, we will head to our cozy farmhouse, where you will learn how to make traditional feta cheese. Using the same techniques from our beloved grandmother, you will also make and taste a delicious Spanakopita recipe.

We will then take a relaxing hike through our beautiful potato and corn fields, offering you breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Along the Arachthos River, you can dip your toes in the crystal clear waters or sit back and soak up the peaceful surroundings.

After our walk, we will return to the farm to indulge in a delicious meal made with fresh, organic ingredients. The dishes will be prepared using the greens you handpicked from our greenhouses and fresh chicken and lamb.

Finally, we will conclude the tour by tasting the unique flavor of the cheese we made together. We guarantee you will leave feeling inspired and rejuvenated by sustainable living. Come along on this unforgettable journey!
