Dune & Steppe Exploration in Lemnos

From the shifting dunes of Ammothinès and the coastal serenity of Gomati Bay to the rugged solitude of Faraklo’s steppes, these trails invite you to explore a side of the Aegean untouched by time. With every step, you’ll connect with nature in its purest form—respecting its fragility while embracing its quiet majesty.

Step into a land of shifting sands and serene silence.

📍Ammothinès Desert, Katalakkos Area, Northwest Lemnos

The Ammothinès Desert is one of the most unique landscapes in the Aegean, offering an almost surreal hiking experience. This natural wonder, shaped by centuries of wind, consists of vast stretches of shifting sand dunes.
