These paths will take you over summits, beside gorges, down valleys, across forests and through open fields showing the Greek countryside at its very best. Some are mapped, others marked, and others still anonymous, known only to the village folk. There are plenty of hiking clubs that will take you through the best hiking trips ever, while dozens of communities have printed hiking maps both for the islands and for the mainland.
