Limni Eco-Agro Tourism EcoHouse

Limni Eco-Agro Tourism House is officially certified and it's member to Eco Tourism Greece. It is an eco-friendly retreat featuring two stone-built villas, Marguerite and Mimosa, which combine traditional architecture with modern comfort. Situated in a tranquil location above Ammoudara Beach near Agios Nikolaos, the property spans 1.5 hectares of olive groves, aromatic herbs, fruit and vegetable gardens. The villas are constructed with natural materials such as stone, wood, clay and straw, offering both comfort and harmony with nature. Guests can relax in hammocks, explore the gardens and olive groves, or simply enjoy the serenity and panoramic sea views, making it an ideal destination for those seeking peace and rejuvenation.

Limni follows strict sustainable practices, focusing on the use of natural and locally sourced materials for construction and furnishings. The absence of Wi-Fi encourages guests to disconnect and fully immerse themselves in the surrounding environment. Villas feature 100% organic bedding and the property’s design minimizes environmental impact while maximizing harmony with the landscape. Personalized services ensure guests experience an authentic Cretan lifestyle while respecting the local ecosystem. Every aspect of the accommodation reflects a commitment to eco-conscious tourism and sustainable living.

The area surrounding Limni offers a wealth of ecotourism opportunities for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Guests can enjoy hiking and cycling along trails leading to secluded beaches, gorges and traditional villages. The region is rich in biodiversity, with olive groves, carob trees and wild aromatic plants. Water activities like snorkeling, windsurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding are also available, alongside climbing, fishing and mountain biking. Visitors can explore centuries-old trees, enjoy authentic Cretan cuisine in local tavernas and fully immerse themselves in the island’s natural and cultural beauty.

The accommodation has completed successfully the program I-Stars

Crete

Crete is the largest and most diverse island in Greece, with a rich history, culture and nature. You'll be eager to explore the stunning landscapes of the island, from the mountain ranges and gorges to the caves and beaches. There's no doubt you'll enjoy the authentic Cretan hospitality and cuisine, as well as the traditional music, dance and customs of the locals too.
