HOTEL FARAGGI

The Kavala region in Northern Greece hides many secrets, and Hotel Faragi is one of these.

Warm hospitality, delicious food and a very local flavor prepared by locals, with praise from visitors aimed at owners Giorgos and Sophia. Apparently you eat very well here and guests are happy. We’re also happy to list cozy traditional family properties, such as this one and that are well on their way to become green.

Kavala

Kavala is a coastal region in north-eastern Greece that offers a unique experience of history, culture, nature, and gastronomy. The city of Kavala boasts more than 2,500 years of history and you can admire its architectural heritage in the old town, where Eastern and Western influences blend. You can visit the medieval fortress, the Ottoman imaret, and the vaulted Kamares aqueduct. You can also enjoy panoramic views of the Aegean Sea from the old lighthouse or follow in the footsteps of St Paul at Philippi, a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site.

Beyond being an history town, Kavala is also an ideal destination for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Kavala's coastline boasts some magnificent beaches, including Ammolofi, with its fine sand and crystal-clear waters, and Ammoglossa Keramotis, surrounded by pine trees. You can also take a boat from the port of Kavala to Thassos, a green and picturesque island. If you're looking for adventure, you can enjoy outdoor sports such as rafting, canyoning, hiking or paragliding in the surrounding mountains.

Finally, Kavala is the place to discover the authentic flavours of northern Greek cuisine, with its local produce and traditional specialities. Sample fresh fish, seafood, organic vegetables, cheese, honey, olives, and wine in the town's tavernas and restaurants. Take part in culinary workshops or tastings organized by local producers.

Kavala is a city that offers a multitude of opportunities for an unforgettable ecological and cultural experience.
