Another noble initiative to support ecotourism, Hikers Friendly Hotels are committed to providing information about trails, offering hiking gear, and taking care of trails in their area. The scheme was recently established by the social cooperative Paths of Greece with the support of Green Evolution, two important organizations that promote sustainability in the tourism sector across the country. Hikers Friendly offers four levels of certification: Bronze, Gold, Silver and Platinum.
