Run by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Greek Breakfast initiative awards hotels all over the country which offer hearty breakfasts based on local ingredients and recipes. This is a welcome move away from the standard “continental breakfast”, embracing instead local traditions and strengthening local economies. Visitors can look forward to sumptuous breakfasts at establishments displaying this certification.
