Pefkofito, meaning Planted Pine, is a beautiful village at 730 metres altitude within the Mouzaki region. Important local sites of interest include the stone arched bridge, called the Paleokamara(photo), which tradition states is the work of Saint Vissarionas. The village has reserved two stone watermills at Vamvakies.
