St. Theodore Monastery (between Logothetianika and Aroniadika villages)

This beautiful monastery nestles amidst one of the lushest, greenest parts of the island. Dedicated to the island’s patron saint and the place where he spent his life as a monk in the 10thC, it was built by the Venetians and one of the buildings was used as a school by the British.
