The Monastery of Agios Ioannis Siderianos represented a safe haven from pirates and is connected to miracles on the island. It is well intact for its age and a veritable historic edifice. Lastly, in the village of Tripiti are Christian Catacombs, open from 8 am to 1 pm every day except Monday and considered one of the most important findings from the early years of Christianity.
