Milos boasts a very rich geological makeup, and there is nowhere better to understand its mineral wealth and geology than at the Milos Mining Museum in Adamas. Wonder through many different objects and pictures to read about the mining history and traditions, keeping in mind that mining represents the backbone of the island’s economy rather than tourism. Video presentations and free guided tours upon request are available in this two-floor museum.
