Domiana Monastery – Kimisis tis Theotokou

This is one of the most significant post-Byzantine monuments, having made a valuable contribution to the Nation and to Orthodoxy. The church was first built in the 16th century. The monastery has interesting murals from 1787, in the Byzantine style. Holy water emerges from the floor in the northwest section.
