The ancient Phocean city of Ambrossos, located now where Distomo is and beyond, features many findings from the Mycenaean up to the Early Christian era. The findings are on display at the old primary school, a preserved stone building from 1903. There’s also a photo exhibition from the Nazi massacre in 1944.
