Another well-kept secret is the secluded beach of Thapsa north of Kymi.
Few bathers make it here, and the difficult dirt road leading to the beach is probably to blame. However, it can be navigated with a passenger car, though care needs to be taken. The work put into getting here will be well-rewarded once you catch a glimpse of this lagoon of crystalline turquoise waters contrasting with the white pebble beach. The steep cliffs surrounding the beach give it an added exotic feel.
